Privacy Policy
visitorlens is designed as a lightweight, restrained, privacy-friendly analytics product.
What we collect
visitorlens focuses on necessary analytics data such as page path, referrer, device type, browser, country or region, event name, and site public key.
What we avoid
We avoid third-party advertising cookies by default, do not build cross-site ad profiles, and do not put full IP addresses into standard analytics reports.
IP and security debugging
IP-related data should be stored as prefixes, hashes, or short-lived security logs. Temporary access requires permission, a reason, and audit logging.
Retention
Retention can differ by plan and data class. Events, SEO jobs, notification logs, and security logs should have separate retention windows.
User control
Site owners should be able to remove sites, disable tracking, export required data, and manage team permissions in future versions.
